Riding across the country on a motorcycle is one great American tradition that is enjoyed by numerous bikers every year, but before any of these men and women can hit the road, they require special gear that will help keep them safe on their trip, like motorcycle eyewear and a good helmet. For those who have cultivated an interest in pursuing this sort of activity, obtaining a motorcycle is only the first step in many along the path, there are also many crucial accessories that must be obtained before the big trip.

The helmet is likely a given element where safety is concerned; however, many people will ride without helmets in the few States that have not implemented a proper helmet law or be simply end up getting a helmet that does not offer superior protection.
