In the event There Was A vehicle That Ran On Water Would You Purchase One?

By Vanessa Summer

Are you tired of seeing gas costs continue to climb to where they are almost $4 a gallon? By the day additional billions in income are being made by the oilmen, while ordinary folk find it increasingly difficult to put gas in the tank and generally sweat at stretching their budgets to previously unheard of limits. Does a motor vehicle specifically have to run on gasoline, or can it be adapted to another, improved way?

Many products have gotten to the testing stage over the years, but have then been stopped dead because they would adversely influence profits from oil. Any time you look at your gas gauge, you are most likely wishing there was a better way to run your car. Have you noticed the ads on the Internet about a car that can run on water? Is that fiction, or possibly there is a bunch of fact in it? Actually there are car manufacturers who are working on this possibility, and the future belonging to the automobile is that it may run on hydrogen made by water.

We have all seen the devastating outcome of the power of uncontrolled water, so it's no stretch to picture water pressure being used to transform hydrogen and oxygen. This isn't just some far-away dream, but is already a reality, even though these cars haven't been introduced to the public, yet. Before the electric car came to be used by anyone,it was more than twenty years. Right now, there is more than a year's waiting list for the Smart Car of America, which works solely on electric energy. There is undoubtedly a need to get rid of gas cars for those that run on something else.

Once upon a time gasoline was an inexpensive kind of energy for the car, and natural gas for the household. Pollution from gas has gotten out of control, while customers of both varieties have had to pay escalating prices. We ought to thank the guys who blew the whistle on the harmful effects of emissions, the environmentalists, but ironically they get held accountable instead. They were the ones that put up with the name calling and even worse, to make sure that the earth's water and air remained clean. The addition of ethanol to gas causes it to run cleaner, and who do we have to thank for this breakthrough but these folk. However, already astronomical oil rates keep climbing and more has to be done, especially because the majority of our oil is sourced from abroad.

If a car that runs on hydrogen and the burning of oxygen grew to be a reality, that would minimize our dependence on foreign oil suppliers and possibly bring about that blissful state where we didn't need them at all. Does it seem too good to be true to use common tap water to run your car? Automobiles that can run on hydrogen are already being experimented on by both Ford and Chevy. Years into the future, when their hydrogen-driven vehicles are finally launched, the waiting list will probably be miles long.
