When I was a young teenager I had a beach cruiser bike and I loved it. It was my mode of transportation and took me just about everywhere I needed to go. It had wide tires so it was easy to ride on gravel and dirt and even took you over the sand at the beach with no problem. I believe that was how it originally got it's name, beach cruiser, due to the fact it was the best bike for riding along the sandy beach shoreline.

I may not look as cool when I ride it but I still feel young and free when riding my beach cruiser bike.
