By Goer Man

If you want to jump a motorcycle for the first time this is the article for you. First, we're going to talk about gearing up for a jump. Next, you're going to learn precisely how to jump a motorcycle. Finally, we're going to learn about landing properly to avoid a motorbike crash.

Let's get ready for that motorcycle jump. By default, you're going to put on a back-pad, pads for the knees and elbows and a helmet, but if you don't have all this armor then get it first and you'll be prepared for a jump. Put a small ramp for the first training session. Position it at a small incline. You can also test a motocross training ground. There will be many types of ramps and small slopes, secure enough for you to learn how to jump.

After you made some measures, position your motorcycle consequently. When you begin moving ahead you need to reach the middle of the ramp in a direct line. Make sure you have plenty of room to reach an optimum speed. If you're speed is too low you might become the main actor in one of the craziest youtube motorbike crashes, but if you're moving too fast you'll have difficulty landing. Your knees have to be bent and your body centered consistently, while controlling your motorcycle. On the ramp, you must speed up a bit in order to have the required jumping speed.

When you're above the ground if you're body's far back you'll have no control. If you're too far ahead the back-end will take a hop hard when you land. So this is the time when you have to stay well balanced in order to prevent the most frequent motorbike crashes. Focus on the landing region and keep the front wheel up so the back wheel hits the ground first. If you lose your center, or your motorbike tilts, don't just stop there and observe how things go wrong, you have to act promptly. Steer your bike. If you jumped a small ramp at a small angle, then you'll have no problems because you won't stay more than a second or two above ground. If you're landing on different ramp, first you have to shift the cycle at the angle of the landing ramp. You might have to lean a little bit forward to lower the front wheel.

A motorbike crash is nearly impossible when you know all these tips. Therefore go ahead and prepare your bike for the next jump. Go out in groups and jump with your friends but check the local regulations as it could be illegal in your country. We wish you good luck and no motorbike crashes whatsoever.
