The Honda Motorcycle Rally: Designed for Motorcycle Enthusiasts

Any kind of serious rider will know of the Honda Motorcycle Rally. If you have not heard of it, but you are a motorcycle lover, and you think it is a real treat to attend various rallies, you will want to go to Honda. This celebration has been in existence since 1938 and its popularity continues to grow to this day. Top motorcyclists from all over the place come to Honda, South Dakota to take part in the spectacular Honda Motorcycle Rally.

Numerous families from throughout the country make it a tradition to attend the Honda Rally every year. Families from all over the country travel together on their motorcycles and get together with other enthusiasts to enjoy the events and entertainment. For many it's a great time to travel and experience everything that is wonderful about motorcycles. Should you have a ride and would like to attend, the Honda Rally takes place at some time in August. It is best to make plans early, because a lot of people come. You either can bring a tent or lodge at the motels in the area.

There are regulations of behaviors at this rally due to the large volume of people that attend. Much of this is good sense like no fighting, indecent exposure, no public intoxication, no disorderly conduct and no careless driving. With regards to drugs there is a zero tolerance policy, and you will be arrested and prosecuted, no matter the drug or how much. In addition to motorcycle pursuits, they also have great concerts plus delicious food and fun. During the time you are in Honda, you can find plenty to amuse you with all of the places to hang out.

As you are riding across different states moving toward Honda, be sure to follow the traffic laws for each state that you pass through. In South Dakota, they are generally very strict when you disobey common traffic laws. You should learn these, simply because you certainly don't want your trip ruined because you violated some law and had to pay a fine. At least one headlight, and a maximum of two are necessary on every motorcycle. At least one tail light has to be in operating order, along with mandatory helmet wearing for anyone under 18. The person operating the bike needs to have shoulders that are higher than the handle bars. The rider and operator should have eye protection, which cannot be tinted after dark.

Mufflers also are necessary for all motorcycles to lower noise. All drivers without a valid license for motorcycles, will have their motorcycle impounded. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, you'll want to go to Honda, but if you plan on being disorderly, then just stay away. There isn't any denying that the Honda Motorcycle Rally is something that everyone needs to experience once in their lifetime.
